I keep coming back to that line that the artist's biggest enemy is obscurity - especially true for those of us working in this medium that we love but that isn't, let's face it, very widely accepted in ol' Blighty.

It's brilliant that we can now get a sampler up on BookBuzzr, or even a whole taster book in the Kindle Store, with just a few clicks. And that feeds back into trad media too, because I'm convinced that by reaching new readers via new media we also encourage them to explore the old. (Old media I mean, not old readers...)

More importantly: when can I get Bodkin & the Bear on my iPad?!!Dave Morrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14468228790874490693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977815102559126032.post-81758128240093470662011-02-05T12:21:26.934+00:002011-02-05T12:21:26.934+00:00er -- old media and new that is.er -- old media and new that is.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977815102559126032.post-36254015819893287072011-02-05T12:20:23.244+00:002011-02-05T12:20:23.244+00:00what he said. also great that you're exploring...what he said. also great that you're exploring the new media possibilities... i love the notion that they can complement each other.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977815102559126032.post-11771428074886450352011-02-04T15:07:08.803+00:002011-02-04T15:07:08.803+00:00Ah yes of course! First time I saw those I thought, *this* is how to put across all the layers of background in an invented world. Not that I'm saying our little book holds a candle to Alan Moore, mind you! But he was the inspiration and the light :)Dave Morrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14468228790874490693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5977815102559126032.post-92194251696254393552011-02-04T07:27:04.460+00:002011-02-04T07:27:04.460+00:00That is AWESOME!!!!
