In the country of the blind

Ashamed, aghast and assotted at the lack of monocled characters in Mirabilis, Leo and I dug up this snippet:

It's the merest stop-gap, of course. Actual monocles must be added to the story without delay!

    I've been to Croydon and I can definitely vouch for the existence of cyclops there.

    My favourite thing about Mirabilis is the depth of the universe - this sort of thing really makes it feel like a fully formed world. Brilliant!
