my dark materials

that *mezolith* fan art i drew a little while back has set me off on a little path using pen and brush and ink, for a darker feel, both in the look and subject matter...
here's another one...

  8. It's just so deliciously gleeful and naughty. You *have* to do a whole strip in this style - or a series of plates for a book. Water Babies, for instance - that's out of copyright and it could do with a nice dark makeover ;-)

    and thanks again dave! -- i'd definitely like to do *something* with this style -- i tried a literary stimulus for my latest drawing (see blog -- or have you already? someone's been leaving some very kind anonymous comments...)
