Mezolith

Just a quick hello to say that I've posted a review of "Mezolith" on our (David Orme and myself's) Cloud 109 Blog.

We're getting anything up to 1000 hits a day on the blog with links to Spanish, French, U.S. sites (including Fantagraphics ) and even even linked to in Hebrew. So I had this wild brain wave that this might be an idea to help spread the word about the DFC library in general and Mezolith in particular, as I really do think that it's one of the most exciting comics I've come across in years.

We're hoping to look at more offerings from the DFC library as they appear, but we both thought that "Mezolith" was the best possible starting place.

In fact I'm going to stick my neck out a bit here and say that apart from having produced one of the most exciting graphic novels ever, Ben and Adam in this incredible "coming of age" story have produced one of the most powerful and viscerally challenging works of children's fiction that it's ever been my pleasure and privilege to read.

Can't wait for book 2!

  1. I couldn't agree more - Mezolith is a work of art in every way.

  2. Great to see everybody at the Mezolith party. Lovely to see those huge, gorgeous pages on the wall. And Emma and Sarah, I'm sorry I only encountered you when I had to leave! Next time...
