And another 'Could've run'

Following Andrew's lead, here's what I was doing that got me invited to this blog, Astrodog. Initially I was asked to contribute something in a half page format, but I guess half page strips were scrapped as after I sent these I was given the go ahead to do full pages. It would've been 16 one page episodes if it'd appeared. I intend to rework what I've done so far (all pencilled) to double the length and pitch it to whoever I can find, but I really can't think of a place as perfect as The DFC.

  1. It would have been great to see Astrodog in the comic, a damn shame as it's lovely work. You could share some of the pencils with us couldn't you? Go on, go on, go on...

  4. Great work. LOVE the colours. Those purple shadows, yummy. There must be a home for this somewhere but I guess thats what we lose with the DFC passing. There doesnt seem to be anyone else doing anything quite as quirky. But hey. Next year it could all come together again if DF has his way ;-)

  6. Thanks everyone. Nope, no dialogue, Will. Had thought about alien squiggly dialogue, but dodn't bother in the end.
Hmmm, might just post some pencils, Faz.

  7. Absolutely gorgeous - that first strip page in particular is beautiful. I do hope we get to read Astrodog's adventures in full somewhere one of these days.

  8. I've seen this before - and, as before, can I just point out how sickeningly good it is?
