Learning to ride a bike

I had a cycling lesson at the weekend (I am thirty-one) and here is a comic I drew about it (the first two I drew on the the way there, and the last one I drew on the way back):

  1. Glad you survived it, sir.

Looking back at cars while cycling IS tough! Sometimes you just have to kind of take it on faith that they won't run you over.

  3. Good luck with the rest of your cycling!
I absolutely refuse to ride on the roads. I live in Oxford, so if you've seen the combat between motor vehicles and bicycles then... well, it's not cool. It's so scary!

(Wait, "motor vehicles..."??? What century am I from???)

  7. I foresee an era when the bicycle will become the principle method of transport between cities. Gigantic velocipedes will convey up to ten people at a time...
