I had a cycling lesson at the weekend (I am thirty-one) and here is a comic I drew about it (the first two I drew on the the way there, and the last one I drew on the way back):
Good luck with the rest of your cycling! I absolutely refuse to ride on the roads. I live in Oxford, so if you've seen the combat between motor vehicles and bicycles then... well, it's not cool. It's so scary!
(Wait, "motor vehicles..."??? What century am I from???)
I foresee an era when the bicycle will become the principle method of transport between cities. Gigantic velocipedes will convey up to ten people at a time...
We're comic creators, writers and artists who are involved in The Phoenix (launching Jan 2012) and its predecessor, The DFC, the innovative British weekly comic published by David Fickling Books from May 2008 - Mar 2009. Here you can meet some of the very best British graphic storytellers, and this blog will share our news, art, comics, events and new projects. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteLooking back at cars while cycling IS tough! Sometimes you just have to kind of take it on faith that they won't run you over.
That is soooo funny. Love the outfit :-)
