Locked up?

Anybody else getting the message that the blog is locked because of possible "terms of service" violations?

I guess it must be an error, otherwise I wouldn't be able to post this...

  1. Just checked into this - at first I thought we might have violated Blogger's terms due to Andrew's 'metaphor' :-) - but actually the details said that Blogger thinks our blog may be a 'spam blog'. I have requested this to be checked and unlocked - it does admit mistakes are sometimes made in the overcautious spam-detection software.

  2. I wonder what we're doing that makes it look like spam!

  3. What have I done?!?!?!?! :-( Was there something wrong with my 'Metaphor'? Take it down if you think so.

  4. No, I don't think it's that, Andrew. The DFC Creators' Blog had a similar thing. I'm sure it'll all be sorted soon.

  5. For info, Blogger's message:

Blogger's spam-prevention robots have detected that your blog has characteristics of a spam blog. (What's a spam blog?) Since you're an actual person reading this, your blog is probably not a spam blog. Automated spam detection is inherently fuzzy, and we sincerely apologize for this false positive.

We received your unlock request on July 16, 2009. On behalf of the robots, we apologize for locking your non-spam blog. Please be patient while we take a look at your blog and verify that it is not spam.

  6. I hope I haven't somehow caused this by just cross-posting stuff in here from my other blog. Um... if so, sorry!

Please remember that this is an all-ages blog, and the language and content of comments should take that into consideration. Thank you.
