Hey, if you're in London this Monday, the 27th, come along to hear me give a presentation of my work and have a book-club-style discussion of Shaun Tan's The Arrival. The event's called Laydeez Do Comics, so the emphasis is on female creators, but guys and gals are both welcome, and it'll be a great chance to meet other comics people.
